¡Feliz aniversario! Sabia and Verona a Garrshirian veteran

Today, March 20, 2013 marks the 5th month anniversary of the Juclandian overseas territory of Sabia and Verona. Although most micronations, macronations, states or any kind of institution would celebrate only five months of existence, we sure do. That is because this five months of stable existence make Sabia and Verona the longest-lasting Garrshirian micronation. To celebrate this important date, F.S. Kóvérsz has commissioned the foundation of a Sabioveronese Navy in the most Sabioveronese way we could think of: paper boats.

But not all is joy and fireworks, for celebrating the oldest of the kind on our fifth month of existence is not good at all. In fact, it’s somewhat embarrassing. This only rises awareness on how little past Garrshirian micronations have developed and how much is still ahead of us on the road. Sabia and Verona is just a newborn compared to other micronations in the Community, and trust us, that is a fact we keep in mind a lot. The good news is that Sabia and Verona is just beginning its travel, and we are here to stay. In two months we will celebrate our second General Elections, where we shall elect a new First Secretary of Sabia and Verona. As well, next month my term as Governor of Sabia and Verona will end. I am still to decide whether I shall run for another six months  in office or I’ll step down for a while, but what is certain is that Sabia and Verona is growing stronger every day, and with this anniversary the whole region is waking up from a small time of inactivity, ready to progress for the land we love.
